Pilates
Pilates is a brilliant exercise program that works every muscle in your body through stretching and resistance with muscle-isolating movements. Some notice a similarity to Yoga.
Regular practice of Pilates will balance your body and build strong lean muscle. You can also expect to see vast improve in your posture, concentration, flexibility, efficiency of movement and mobility. Pilates is also used for injury prevention, rehabilitation and treatment. Some of the afflictions, for which Pilates is beneficial, are arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis and chronic fatigue syndrome. Expect to feel taller, lighter and revitalized after each Pilates workout. And, Total Body Pilates is very proud to offer a calm and tranquil setting for your Pilates practice.
Our instructors provide private/semi-private/group Pilates refomer and chair sessions. We also have several Pilates mat classes each week. If you don't see a beginner, intermediate or advanced class on our schedule that fits your needs or if you're interested in other classes e.g. Pilates Barre, Yoga, let us know! We will do what we can to accommodate your needs.
